Virtual World RP Communication And Discord Regulations

Post by The1TheTrueGonzo on Mon May 29, 2017 12:11 pm

Virtual World Role Play uses Discord as its primary and official form of instant communication within the role play world. Below are the regulations regarding all official and unofficial communications.

1. All Official Channels Are In Character Channels:
Any and all text and verbal conversation within the Official VWRP Discord Channels is considered In Character conversation. Any and all illegal conversations could be used against the individual(s) involved, so please be weary when discussing any illegal activity in game. Make sure you are secure in how you discuss your illegal activities.

2. Use Your Character Name As Your Discord ID:
All users are expected to use their Character Name as their Discord Name. This is to avoid confusion over master account names, and character names. It will also ease the ability to RP for everyone involved in the event. Using your Character Name will also aid all staff in keeping character information up to date so that the RP experience is rich and deep.

3. In Game Chat Is Public Chat:
Most In Game chat systems are also considered In Character conversation, although it is suggested all individuals check the specific Country (game) regulations, as to see how the In Game Chat system is utilized (if it is utilized). As with any In Character conversation, any illegal discussions could be used against the individual(s) involved In Game by authorities.

4. In Game Cellphone:
Any In Game Cellphone is normally considered a "Burner Style Phone" due to the fact it is most likely untraceable. Please consult the Country (Game)/State (Platform) Regulations regarding any In Game Cellphone, if one exists.

5. In Game Email:
Any In Game Email system is normally considered a "Proxy Based Email" due to the fact that it is most likely untraceable. Please consult the Country (Game)/State (Platform) Regulations regarding any In Game Email, if one exists.

6. Non-Official Communication Apps/Tools:
Any Thrid-Party/Non-Official Communication Tools that aren't used by VWRP are considered Out Of Character conversations, and cannot be used In Game and In Character. Any use of Third-Party/Non-Official conversations/information In Game will be considered Power-Gaming and could result in a banning.
